"When I think about Coach Moffett, I think of him as more than just a coach. He has been a mentor, a father figure, counselor, and a friend. When you first meet Moffett you will ask yourself, who is this crazy, loud person and how can we get him to be quiet? But just from that first encounter you will get to know the kind person he is. He is a loving, caring, man of God, a man of many traits, a family man, and a comedian. These are all traits that come to mind when trying to describe him. All in all, he is a character. He has made a huge impact on my life. He has taught me many life lessons that have helped me transition in the stages of my life. He has been there for me when my life was at my lowest. He motivates and encourages me to continue to dream big and accomplish all of the goals that I have set for myself. Most importantly, he has taught me it’s okay to be myself. Being my authentic self, no matter what! That includes loving myself with the good and the bad, while embracing being different. He took me in like I was his own son, and I will forever be grateful for everything he has done for me. If I could describe Moffett with one word, I would say it’s spontaneous. You will never know what he will do at any given moment.”

Welcome to Broken to Mended! We are a family-run business with a mission to make a positive impact on our community. Our journey began in 1987 when tragedy struck our family, and we lost our beloved uncle Geneath Jabbar Jackson. Our father was determined to turn his grief into action and began working with the children in our neighborhood to create a safe and supportive environment. In 2006, we officially incorporated our organization, since then, we have continued to empower young people and families through our programs and services. We proudly make a difference in our community and honoring our uncle's legacy of helping the youth progress from "Broken to Mended".
